The Adequate Health Care Task Force, created by the Health Care Justice Act, P.A. 93-0973, is charged with developing recommendations for a health care access plan(s) that would provide access to a full range of preventive, acute, and long-term health care services to residents of Illinois.

Per the statute, the Task Force, along with the Dept. of Public Health, is hosting public hearings in each of Illinois' 19 Congressional Districts. These hearings will give residents an opportunity to voice their concerns regarding access to affordable, quality health care. More Information
